Rebecca St. James Baby: 'Wait For Me' Singer Expecting First Child This Week, 'Would Love Prayer as My Husband and I Welcome Our New Baby'
Christian singer Rebecca St. James announced that she is due to deliver her first baby this week and she is asking fans for prayers.
Along with a photo the Grammy Award winning singer she announced the news on her Social Media page.
"Would love prayer as my husband and I welcome our new baby into our family this week! Baby's due date is today. We are SO excited!" James posted.
Her message update immediately got floods of post, shares and retweets in the social media universe for the couple's first born.
Her page lit up with Loads of congratulations and prayers. One fan saying, "We all are praying ... and waiting for a sweet baby." Many others want to know what was the sex of the baby and what names the couple selected.
The singer responded with another picture saying, "Thank you everyone for your incredible show of support, love and prayers!"
St. James and her husband Jacob Fink were married in April of 2011. The couple opted to not know the sex of the baby until birth.
As well as being a successful singer and actress St. James is also an accomplished author. Her latest book release, The Merciful Scar, Published by Thomas Nelson is a fiction work collaboration with co-writer Nancy Rue. It addresses the controversial subject of self-injury.
Austrian born St. James has had a very successful career promoting the message of hope in Christ. She is very outspoken when it comes to sexual abstinence and is also a pro-life advocate.
