Rebecca St. James Reveals 'Total Miracle' as California Wildfire Stops Feet From Her Home After Winds Turn

Christian vocalist Rebecca St. James has testified her gratitude to God after her home was spared in a wildfires ravaging her neighborhood in Los Angeles.

"It's a total miracle 'cause the wind changed right when the fires were about to take over our house," wrote St. James via Facebook on May 15. "You can see the proof when you look at where the fire stopped, 3 feet from our back fence. The fire was a 2-3 story wall of flame, only meters away from our home!"

She also revealed the only damage her family suffered was the "tree in [their] front yard was burnt and a water pipe burst." However, St. James also expressed sadness as she revealed that her neighbors were not so fortunate property-wise.

"Apparently a few of our neighbors stayed to help fight the fire, which is a big reason why most of the houses on our street were saved. Unfortunately our neighbors three doors away lost their house, so please keep praying for that family...," wrote St. James.

Previously, the 36-year-old Australian posted the following on Facebook on May 14, one day before she experienced the miracle.

"We may have lost our house and everything we own to a fire today... I saw the 2 story flames a few hundred yards away," St. James said. "Please pray for us. I got out with [my baby daughter] Gemma, our dog and a baby book in the car when police were arriving ordering evacuation," wrote St. James.

After surviving her terrifying ordeal, she went on Facebook to express her gratitude to her fans who supported her with prayers during the difficult time.

"...Thanks to you all for your prayers. They are greatly appreciated!," wrote St. James.
