Real Madrid will face a challenging test in the Champions League Tuesday night against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.

Real Madrid come into this game after defeating Osasuna 4-0 in La Liga on April 26. Previously, Real Madrid defeated Bayern Munich 1-0 in the first leg on April 23. Karim Benzema scored the only goal in the game that catapulted Real Madrid to the victory last week.

"At this stage in the competition the psychological aspect is more important than tactics," said Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti to reporters. "We have to be strong mentally in order to do our best to reach the final."

Ancelotti further expressed his thoughts on potentially leading his new club to the title this year.

"This is a very important competition for Real Madrid, mainly because if we win the title it will be the club's tenth European Cup. That would be really special for everyone. And the sooner we win the better. It would be incredible if I was able to win it in my first year," said Ancelotti to reporters.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich recently defeated Werder 5-2 in the Bundesliga on April 26. Bayern Munich head coach Pep Guardiola is expecting star player Franck Ribery to lead his club to the victory on Tuesday against their Spainish opponents.

"Franck played like he was possessed at the weekend. He fights and fights and for this reason the people love him here at the Allianz Arena," said Guardiola to reporters. "He is one of the best players in the history of Bayern Munich and we need his help."

The winner of the Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich match today will face the victor of Atletico Madrid or Chelsea in the final on May 24 in Lisbon, Portugal.
