Real Madrid Transfer News: Alvaro Morato to Leave Real Madrid, Kroos to Join European Champions

Reports from Spain say that Alvaro Morata is on the verge of joining Juventus for €22 million ($30,022,410) with a buyback clause inserted in his contract. The 21-year-old footballer from Real Madrid, who has been struggling to impress at the Bernabeu, will now shift to Serie.

Marca recently revealed, "As soon as Morata announced his desire to try his luck elsewhere, 'Los Blancos' said they wouldn't stand in the Bernabéu youth product's way. However, the club's higher-ups were reluctant to completely cut their ties with the local lad, so Juventus have agreed to insert a buy-back clause into the deal."

The four-year deal of Morata will be completed over the "next couple of days." Following the deal, the youngster will undergo a medical and agree to personal terms, says Marca. This will facilitate Morata's joining the Italian champions of Antonio Conte right in time for pre-season training, which is scheduled to start on Monday.

Several very established strikers across the world would fail to oust Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Gareth Bale from Los Blancos' first team; hence Morata's move is comprehensible. Considering the fact that Morata has just made four starts during the 2013-14 La Liga and Champions League campaigns, it is easy to appreciate why this is the appropriate time for him to move on.

Even as things continue to develop in Madrid, currently Real are planning to unveil Toni Kroos. Marca's J.L. Calderon writes, "Kroos will be swapping his Bayern shirt for a Real Madrid one after all. And we won't have to wait too long to see him do it, either, as Real is already busy organising his presentation ceremony. The event will take place next week, after the German international has returned from Brazil. He will be the first of (Carlo) Ancelotti's new recruits."

Daily Mail reports that Real is also said to be making a move to incorporate Monaco's James Rodriguez and Radamel Falcao in the team. It is expected that Kroos may potentially replace outgoing Angel Di Maria or Sami Khedira and will be adding power to the European champions' midfield.
