Real Madrid Transfer News: Angel Di Maria, Sami Khedira Set to Leave Bernabeu, Real Target Manuel Neur
Having completed their incoming transfers for this Summer, Real Madrid is now waiting for the outgoing transfers during the week just before the kick off of the ensuing Premier Division.
While acquiring top-notch footballers like James Rodriquez, Toni Kroos and Keylor Navas has certainly strengthened the winners of last season's Champions League, the team is now burdened with excess players in certain positions.
Numerous reports about the Argentinian winger Angel Di Maria and German midfielder Sami Khedira leaving Real Madrid are making waves. While Manchester United is eager to sign Di Maria, latest reports say that Arsenal is keen to get Sami Khedira.
Carlo Ancelotti, who spoke on Di Maria at a recent news conference, before of the first leg of Real Madrid's Spanish Super Cup tie with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night, said, "I don't know what Di Maria has decided, but he is ready to play and he can help us," adding, "Until 31st August, that's the line we'll maintain. If he stays or if he goes, afterwards, everything will return to normal."
Picking out Di Maria as one of the pillars of Real Madrid in last season's Champions League win, Bleacher Report's Jerrad Peters wrote, "Di Maria, quite simply, was Madrid's best player against Fiorentina, and he picked up an assist on Cristiano Ronaldo's opener."
