‘Real Housewives of New York City’ News: Whole Cast Cut From Show, Except Sonja Morgan?

Recent reports claim that the production team for 'Real Housewives of New York City', will scrap all actresses for next season, all expect Sonja Morgan.

The reality show's producers are looking to give the show a makeover, and to achieve the "revamp," they may have to remove every other housewife on the show, with the exception of Sonja.

"Sonja is a favorite of the network right now," a source said, "Executives have been talking about developing a new cast around her. And she's actively looking and bringing friends in right now."

The producers are no longer happy with how the show's storyline progresses, a source said, according to Enstarz. They want the show to be fresh and exciting to get more viewers.

"They are 100 percent revamping it because it's not performing and the new characters aren't translating. So they're looking at everyone and all options," the source added.

Some of the original casts from the sixth season are creating drama for the show, but it may not be enough to save them from getting axed.

Ramona Singer, one of the show's regular, revealed that her marriage is falling apart and divorce proceedings are now under way, but even that may not be enough for her to be renewed for the next season.

"Ramona is the one most likely on chopping block. There's not much more they can do to her," the insider said, "Her storyline is creating a show that reminds the fans of what it is not."

Aviva Dresher is another housewife who has a big chance of getting cut from the program. "She acts like a diva and Bravo is not happy about it," a source said.

"Aviva makes all kinds of demands and doesn't do all things they require her to do. She thinks she's Jennifer Lopez," the source added.

Other cast members who will reportedly be removed are Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, Kristen Taekman, and part-timer LuAnn de Lesseps.

'Real Housewives of New York City' airs every Tuesday 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
