Heather Thomson has confirmed to ET that this season on Bravo's hit reality series, 'Real Housewives of New York City', will be her last. She cited wanting to focus more attention on her company Yummie by Heather Thomson, and her two young children - Jax, age 10, and Ella Rae, age 8.

The reality star stated: "The reality of it [is] that I can't do it anymore. I have to focus on the things that are really, really important in my life, and that's my family and my business. While I'm filming the show, I also am running a multimillion dollar business, and it takes away a lot of my time from the company."

In another interview with Us Weekly, the 45 mother of two shared: "When the opportunity came to do this show, I had this list of pros and cons. Three years in, the pros list is just gone. They don't exist anymore."

Thomson's closest cast-mate Carole Radziwill shared that Thomson just knew it was the right time to move on. She said that she understood and supported her friend's decision:

"Heather is a very accomplished and honorable person. She brought that and so much more to the show. She's an incredible mom and business woman, with or without the show. There is no doubt that Heather will always do great things. While she won't be part of the show, she is still a part of my life, and for that I'm grateful. Holla!"

The two friends admit that they will miss the laughter they and the other cast-mates shared, however Thomson admits she is happy to be rid of "the forced drama [and] the hurtfulness over someone else and at someone's expense."

She said, "I don't do that. I'm the exact opposite."

Andy Cohen, RHONY executive producer, also understood the decision, according to Thomson.

"He knows I have a big business that needs my focus. He's proud of me and the job that I did on the show. He graciously complimented my integrity, who I am and who I've always been."

Thomson stepped onto the reality TV platform three years ago, and one of the show's highlights featuring her was the long-time feud that developed between herself and LuAnn de Lesseps when she discovered a naked man in their shared accommodation on their Turks and Caicos holiday.
