'Real Housewives of New York' Cast Rumors, News: Bethenny Frankel & Jill Zarin's Feud Returns to the Show?
Bethenny Frankel was allegedly offered a $1 million contract by Bravo Network for her return to the reality show, 'Real Housewives Of New York', but rumors point to the idea that she might reject it, since former co-star Jill Zarin is returning to the show.
Frankel and Zarin became friends when 'Real Housewives Of New York' aired its premiere season back in 2008, but had a major dispute after Frankel got engaged to Jason Hoppy.
"Bethenny hasn't signed a deal with Bravo or the production company for 'Real Housewives of New York' because she is refusing to come back if arch-enemy Jill Zarin returns," a report read.
The two co-stars, who have strained their friendship, are now friendly with each other after leaving the show. Additionally, the two have since ran into each other, and even exchanging pleasantries.
Allegedly, Bravo Network want to showcase the two on the air again with the hopes to reignite any feud that is currently smoldering. Some find that this would be a good strategy to recover from the reportedly struggling ratings that the show is receiving.
Some speculate that bringing back and old feud is just the right way to bring back some of the lost viewership, that is clearly evident in the current rating for 'Real Housewives of New York'.
On a side note, the next season of the reality series might be set in Philadelphia, since reports came out that Bravo producers were seen interviewing women in the area.
However, Princess Ann Banton Lofter, the TV producer of Bravo, did not confirm if the reality show will be swapping over to Philadelphia.
