'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Phaedra Parks ignited divorce rumors as she missed Apollo Nida's sentencing.

Reports have been claiming that Parks deliberately avoided going to Nida's trial, one that would dictate the next eight years of his life. The reality star's absence from court that day has sparked rumors related to the current bond between the two. Some say that skipping out on his court date shows that the married couple is headed for divorce.

Other reports claim that Apollo Nida is quite distraught and upset that his wife did not attend his hearing. Some feel that since Nida is going to be locked up for the next eight years, Parks should try to be near his as much as possible before it's too late. Again, interested parties question whether Parks will live up to her wedding vows.

Nida will be serving the eight years in jail after pleading guilty to charges of fraud. He was arrested in January and admittedly confessed to the crimes by the end of May.

Conflicting reports claim that Parks is trying to make the best out of the current situation. Apparently, she is trying to document the time Nida spends with his children, while he can, so that they they won't forget about him when he becomes incarcerated.

As it stands now, the impending divorce is strictly rumor and has not been officially announced in any way.
