'Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Season 7 News: Bravo Confirms New & Returning Cast
The Bravo TV network has recently confirmed the list of cast members for the upcoming seventh season of the hit reality series, 'Real Housewives of Atlanta'.
Porsha Williams, who was involved in controversies during the sixth season, will not be returning for Season 7 as a main cast member. Fans of Williams need not to worry, since she would still be returning as a recurring character.
Rumor has it that the show will focus on her life after divorce and her adventures as she gets a job as a gossip reporter.
On the other hand, William's sworn enemy Kenya Moore, whom she dragged across the stage during the sixth season reunion show, will be returning for the seventh season as one of the main casts. Moore will be joined by other veteran housewives, including NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burrus, Phaedra Parks and Cynthia Bailey.
The seventh season of the show will also feature two newcomers in its cast. Joining the veteran housewives for the first time are actress Demetria McKinney and model/radio host Claudia Jordan.
Jordan, who relocated to Atlanta for 'The Rickey Smiley Morning Show', will be one of the main cast members, while McKinney will be recurring like Williams.
In addition to the cast announcement, Bravo also released a trailer to give viewers a preview of how juicy the upcoming season will be.
The teaser shows Bailey and Leakes trying to repair their friendship, while Moore is trying to date. It also shows a little bit of Parks' husband Apollo Nida's flip out before he was convicted. The newcomer Jordan also was shown in the teaser, as she was out with Williams's ex-husband.
The storyline for the upcoming season includes Leakes striving to handle her growing career as an actress, and Parks dealing with matters after her husband was convicted last summer for fraud.
The seventh season of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' premieres Sunday, Nov. 9, at 8 pm ET.
