‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Phaedra Parks & Apollo Nida Final Fight Before Leaving for First Day in Prison

Apollo Nida, who is guilty of committing federal fraud, was scheduled to start his eight-year prison sentence on September 10, but did not report to the authorities during his appointed time at a federal prison in Lexington, Kentucky.

Instead of turning himself in at the right time, Nida reportedly chose to visit his wife Phaedra Parks at her home, where a confrontation ensued.

"It was the most bizarre thing. Everyone thought he was already at jail this morning. He drove himself to jail and was supposed to be there by noon. So Bravo came over to her house to start filming her coming home and all that stuff. The whole Bravo crew saw it - it's all on tape. Everyone was shocked."

Nida is said to have forced his way into Parks' home and started throwing things. The 35-year-old was seen "running around the house like a lunatic for about 20 minutes. He was psychotic, not even making sense."

Nida allegedly confronted Parks over financial issues, and about how she didn't put any money in his prison account for him.

The incident was not the first time that Nida and Parks argued over money. For the past few months, the couple, who has been married for five years, was reportedly estranged from each other.

"He would show up at her office screaming at her and demand money. Over the last two months, he's dropped thousands of dollars at strip clubs, drinking, and partying - and spending virtually no time with his children," a source told People.

Meanwhile, Parks is said to be filing for divorce while her husband is serving his time in prison.

"Phaedra has been patiently waiting for Apollo to begin serving his prison sentence, and will have him served with divorce papers at the correctional facility in Kentucky," a source told Radar.
