Real Housewives of Atlanta Latest News: Phaedra Parks Won’t Stay With Apollo Nida?

'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Phaedra Parks allegedly plans to divorce Apollo Nida who is facing up to 8 years in jail. Sources are speculating that if the two remain married, it would be rather costly for the reality star.

Nida has been charged with identity theft and bank fraud, and has a penalty of about $2 million on his head. According to reports, he has been given 20 years to pay the penalty or else he will have to pay another 25 percent on top of the original amount.

If Parks were to stay with Nida, she would have to shoulder $100,000 per year, over 20 years.

However, Parks allegedly does not intend to stay with him much longer. Previous reports claim that the couple has had marital problems even before the legal issues came about. Additionally, she did not attend Nida's most recent court appearance.

"Phaedra and Apollo had their issues, even before he got caught up [in his legal drama]. Phaedra is a good and loving woman and she tried to stand by him, honor, and hold him down," a source said.

Nida was said to be upset about his wife not supporting him during that time, "I mean, my wife didn't even f**king show up for my sentencing. I'm still salty about that," he said.
