Real Housewives of Atlanta Cast News, Spoilers: Porsha Williams Demoted, Kordell's New Romance

Recently, 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' executive producer Carlos King talked about various issues related to the upcoming season of the reality television series on Bravo. In an interview with Perez Hilton, King revealed that Porsha Williams has been demoted in the upcoming installment, Season 7.

Talking to Hilton, King said, "I don't hire nor fire housewives or demote them for that matter! But Andy Cohen spoke about Porsha's demotion and he specifically stated that it was a decision made from the network due to the lack of personal story info that Porsha was offering this season."

In the same breath, he added that fans can expect to see more of Porsha Williams in the new season. He assured that Williams will definitely be very visible throughout the upcoming season.

In the meantime, other latest reports hinted that Williams' demotion actually provided her with a bigger opportunity. Media Take Out reports that while the reality TV star was demoted in 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 7, she was immediately signed on to do her own spinoff show.

Beyond that, the latest news is that Claudia Jordan will join the cast of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' in Season 7. Replying to a question about Claudia's inclusion in the show, King revealed that the dynamic of the series was "changed in a good way" because of her.

Explaining, King said, "Claudia is a well known TV personality/comedian who has an organic friendship with Kenya so she brings that to the table. She's beyond funny and has a great back-story being a biracial beauty so there are definitely layers to Claudia. Plus, she's able to stand on her own two feet with the rest of the girls which is also dynamic to watch."

It is expected that fans will see the new housewife and William's ex-husband Kordell getting "cozy" in the upcoming series, indicating two things - first, there will be some trouble ahead and, second, Kordell will continue on in the show.

Apart from Claudia, Demetria McKinney will also be included in the cast, but she will be more like a guest and a "friend to the show."

'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 7 premieres on Sunday, Nov. 9, on Bravo.
