'Real Housewives of Atlanta' is taking a major turn in terms of casting, as old faces will be taking a break and new ones will be taking center stage. A source from Radar Online confirms that model Claudia Jordan is currently filming the show and is set to sign the contract this week.

While a cast is to be introduced, it is rumored that Porsha Williams might be plotting a timely exit on RHOA given her unhealthy relationships with the other ladies. Also, Phaedra Parks is said to take an indefinite leave now that her husband, Apollo Nida, is serving an 8-year sentence in a federal prison.

The former Miss Rhode Island Teen USA winner is confirmed to have started filming though Jordan's role in the show is still open for details.

Back to the original casts of RHOA, NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey's friendship is still on the rocks while Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore are also suffering the same. Sister 2 Sister magazine reported that fans can expect more heightened drama in the wake of Season 7.

Porsha also revealed that the ladies are divided into factions, which might come up as NeNe/Porsha/Phaedra/Kandi Burruss versus Cynthia/Kenya/Jordan/Demetria Kinny. This would mean an exciting set of all new episodes for RHOA fans especially that the retained cast members are known to stage showdowns and are so outspoken about their feelings.

In the meantime, Nida will not be seen on Bravo TV's reality show, but is rumored to play a cameo role on Netflix's 'Orange is the New Black'. In an interview with Forbes, the 35-year-old actor said that he did not regret joining the show in support of his wife Phaedra.
