Ray Rice Elevator Assault Video: Seth Rogen Voices Opinion Over Twitter
Ray Rice's elevator assault video went viral on social media when it was leaked to the Internet on Monday. The clip was taken seven months ago and has sparked much controversy from news outlets and even A-List actors.
Seth Rogen took to the Twittersphere after watching the video to voice his opinion. According to TMZ, the actor mentioned that the football star should be banned from the NFL for the abuse. He said, "I don't know much about football, but I know that Ray Rice is a piece of garbage who shouldn't be allowed to play it professionally anymore."
On the other hand, Janay Palmer, Rice's (fiance at the time of the assault) backed up her husband on Tuesday. She condemned the media for how they handled the incident. Janay wrote on her Instagram saying, "I woke up this morning, feeling like I had a horrible nightmare, feeling like I'm mourning the death of my closest friend...but to have to accept the fact that it's reality is a nightmare itself."
Earlier this year, Ray Rice had been banned from two games by the league. He was also fined $500,000. As a result of this recent incident, he was cut from the team all together and suspended from the NFL.
Janay wrote on her Instagram regarding her husband's case, "no one knows the pain that the media & unwanted options from the public has caused my family...to make us relive a moment in our lives that we regret everyday is a horrible thing."
With all of this drama in his life, it is very unlikely that he will have a future in the NFL anymore.
