If Someone Said 'Jesus Died For Your Sins' I'll Tell Them...to Shut Up'; Traditional Christianity Challenged by Rapper Chingy (VIDEO)

Southern rapper Chingy has been quiet on the music front the last couple of years, but in a recent interview with Vlad TV opened up about his belief in the "YOUniverse" and why he is against traditional Christian teachings.

The "Holiday Inn" rapper explained that he believes the Bible has more to do with the zodiac signs than what is actually written in the text. Chingy says Christianity is a corrupt religion that misinterpreted what the Bible is actually teaching.

"Jesus in the Bible is represented by the fish, (Zodiac sing) Pisces. The Pisces sign is about trials and tribulations and sacrifice. What did Jesus go through in the Bible? Trials and tribulations, he had enemies, and he had to sacrifice," he said in the interview.

"I'm on the guide to truth to find the origins of creation...I started on a path of going back on what I was told. Everyone is conditioned and programmed to believe what this Bible says."

Chingy believes that the traditional methods of Christianity is not the way to view scripture, and that really it has to be read between the lines. "I read the Bible and stuff started not adding up. When you talk about the 12 tribes it talks about the zodiac symbol."

"You can't know nothing about the Bible if all you know is God, Jesus, Moses split the Red Sea, Adam and Eve...If you think you know about the Bible because of these things, you are dead wrong."

The rapper then sarcastically speaks about proof. He is waiting for someone to show him a talking snake like the one seen by Adam and Eve." Do you think I can take a woman from your rib," he asks the host. Instead, he believes a more plausible explanation of the story is taking an atom and pulling out an electron and making a woman from that. "The Bible was written in parables. There is a deeper meaning."

He spoke about how he became educated to the true story of Moses. Chingy does not believe the parting of the Red Sea happened, but it was something internal and within their body. He thinks it is like a metaphor for splitting the body and ascending to the brain.

"You need to know about numerology to know anything about the Bible, you gotta know about astro-theology, theology, astronomy, psychology, physiology, if someone said to me right now, 'Jesus died for your sins' I'll tell them right now to shut up."

He concluded with, "I've always been a spiritual person...I'm not of a religion," he explained. Chingy subscribes to his own brand of theology where it revolves around the "YOUniverse," because people can read the Bible and discern the answers for themselves with the proper teaching.
