Rajasthan Royals vs Bangalore Royal Challengers Live Stream: Watch Online IPL 2014 - Rajasthan Must Rethink Strategy

Having suffered back-to-back defeats to Kings IX Punjab and the Chennai Super Kings in their last two matches after winning their opening match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last over, Rajasthan Royals now need to do some re-thinking before their encounter with the spirited Bangalore Royal Challengers in the 14th match of the Indian Premier League 2014 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, on Saturday.

It is imperative that both skipper Shane Watson and coach Rahul Dravid put their heads together and work out new strategies for the team to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Despite having a bunch of young all-round performers in the team, Rajasthan's batting and bowling is yet to click simultaneously.

While locals Ajinkya Rahane and Stuart Binney were effective in their first match, it was Watson and Sanju Samson who helped the team to put up a decent score in the second match against Punjab with a half-century each. The team that won the maiden IPL edition in 2008 virtually collapsed before a disciplined and tactical Chennai bowling attack in the third match.

The team's bowling department, especially the fast bowlers Dhawal Kulkarni and Rajat Bhatia too have failed to make any impact in the matches played so far. Although Kane Richardson claimed three wickets in the first two matches, he missed the third owing to illness. Shane Watson has been a shade of his past, while spinner Pravin Thambe has proven to be ineffective.

On the other hand, Bangalore has been on a dream run till they were stunned by the Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday. Nevertheless, Bangalore has a solid batting line-up, which includes skipper Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, AB de Villiers, in addition to opener and India-discard wicket keeper Parthiv Patel. When one fails, either does the job. However, Thursday was not their day, as they failed to chase a modest 150 runs to win against Kolkata.

The pace trio of Bangalore has been the most effective of this tournament so far. While Varun Aron has six wickets in his kitty from three matches so far, Mitchell Starc and Albie Morker have five and three wickets each. Young spinner Yuzvendra Chahal too has equally contributed to his team's successful run, taking four wickets.

The match will begin at 4.00 P.M. local time and 10.30 A.M. GMT (6.30 A.M. ET) and can be watched live on Skycricket.net and GoCricket.com.
