Radiohead New Album and Atoms for Peace Tour: Dates, Locations, Times

The band Radiohead is making airwaves once again, as news of the band getting back together to record a new album spreads. Fans' hopes for new tunes have been fulfilled as the band's guitarist, Jonny Greenwood, announced the news on Saturday during Mary Anne Hobbes' BBC 6 Music Show.

"We're going to start up in September, playing, rehearsing and recording and see how it's sounding," he said, according to NME.

Earlier in the year, Greenwood had hinted about new Radiohead material being recorded and on its way towards a release. Greenwood said in an interview with Nashville Cream, "Well we're meeting up at the end of the summer, and we'll make a plan. But, you know, we're a slow moving animal, always have been. I guess we'll decide then what we do next."

Right now, the band is pursuing their own personal solo projects and taking a well-earned break after the end of their last album tour 'The King of Limbs'.

Greenwood continued his work with orchestral film music scores which included corroboration with Paul Thomas Anderson's "Inherent Vice."

Thom Yorke, the band's frontman toured with 'Atoms for Peace' alongside Flea and Nigel Goodrich as a side project. The drummer, Philip Selway, is working on his second solo album which would see an October release date.

The upcoming album, which will be recorded sometime in September, will be the band's 9th studio album.

Meanwhile, Yorke will be continuing his 'Atoms for Peace' tour throughout July, September, October, and November. A complete list of dates, locations, and times can be seen here.
