Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendez are expecting a baby, and Gosling's ex-girlfriend Rachel McAdams is reportedly "devastated" about it.

The news of Gosling and Mendez' baby has reportedly been very upsetting for McAdams and the actress was seen in France, "drowning her sorrows."

Ok Magazine reported that the news of the pregnancy was hard for McAdams since it was speculated that the reason for her split with Gosling was because she wasn't ready to have a baby.

Now that Mendes is pregnant with Gosling's child, McAdam feels that it's a "large blow to her heart."

However, when McAdams did a photo shoot for Allure Magazine, the actress said that despite everything that happened, she "still believes in true love."

Gosling and McAdams initally started their romance while they were filming their blockbuster movie "The Notebook" a decade ago. Things, however didn't go well for the couple as they decided to part ways in 2007. It left fans hoping that the two will eventually get back together, at least on the big screen, if not in real life.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Ok Magazine, a source said that Mendes has been ready for motherhood for a while and the couple couldn't be happier about the baby on the way.

However, it seems like despite the news of the pending arrival of their child, Gosling is not yet prepared to marry Mendes, "Ryan doesn't think they need to marry just because they are having a baby," a source close to the couple allegedly said.

Gosling did an interview with US Weekly in 2011 that made fans speculate what about his next career move now that he will be a father, "I'll make movies until I make babies. I have no idea when the handover will happen," Gosling said.
