Psy Performs Beyonce's "Single Ladies" At Concert In South Korea - Watch Here (VIDEO)
Psy gave his fans in Soeul, South Korea something a little special last night as he gave a surprise performance of "Single Ladies" by Beyonce' that brought the house down. He even wore a small tight fitting dance piece to help him get into character for the song.
His concert from South Korea was also live streamed on Youtube and had a reported 160,000 people watching.
Psy, a South Korean native, came on the world map last year with his song "Gangnam Style" that absolutely blew up on YouTube receiving over 1.3 billion views. He became an overnight world wide phenomenon and was everywhere in the U.S. as well from performing on the American Music Awards with MC Hammer to making an appearance on Saturday Night Live.
Now Psy is back with his new song, "Gentleman". He has a lot to live up to with his new international fame and having the biggest breakthrough song of last year, but he is up to the challenge.
Psy doesn't ever seem to take himself too seriously and the people of South Korea have embraced his recent concerts there. One South Korean fan even joked that if there were people like Psy in North Korea that there would be peace not war.
Psy had is major debut of his new video at his South Korean show yesterday and also performed the new song live to thousands of screaming fans. The fan reaction was great and the new video for "Gentlman" already has over 10 million views after just being posted yesterday.
Having the joy of the concert helps keep everyone's spirits up in South Korea and most of them do not fear an imminent threat from North Korea. Most of these young people have grown up living next to North Korea for so they are used to the hostility as just part of the way things are for now.
