American Idol 2013 update!

Other than a new Idol being crowned, this year's Season 12 finale will feature a lot of high-octane guest performances. One spoiler leaked thus far is Korean pop sensation Psy will be performing his latest single, "Gentleman." The American Idol season finale is just one of Psy's many stops on his 2013 promotional tour.

On the May 16 finale, Psy will join a long list of famous singers [not in the competition], including Lady Gaga and Beyonce, who have performed on the Idol stage for the season's final show. Season 11 featured Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez for its season finale.

Speaking of...along with Psy performing his "Gagnam Style" follow up, ex-Idol judge J-Lo will be back performing during the Season 12 finale, as well as current Idol judge [fired by next season] Keith Urban who's gonna be singing his new single. Mariah Carey is even reportedly singing a medley of her greatest hits on the American Idol Season 12 finale as well.

Though Psy's performance on live television is bound to be a hit, the season finale is all about the young up-and-comers.

On last weeks Top 3 episode, a shocking elimination sent Angie Miller home. Now the fates of Candice Glover and Kree Harrison are in the hands of America. Either way all three girls have a career and future beyond Idol, but I'm sure after months of competing, a win would be pretty satisfying.
