ABC Family's 'Pretty Little Liars' aired on Tuesday with its most dramatic episode to date, showing the return of the show's main antagonist, "A."

The episode picked up from the explosion that happened in their 100th episode and showed how the characters responded to it.

"Did you miss me, b****es? -A," said a text the girls received after the explosion that destroyed Toby Cavanaugh's home.

The girls all thought that "A," whom they all assumed to be Shana, died during their confrontation in New York, and is finally out of their lives. However, the recent event proved that "A" is still alive and is back to torment them.

Bethany Young, a runaway from Radley Sanitarium was identified to be the body buried in Alison's grave so the girls wanted to find a connection between Bethany and Ali's mom, Mrs. DiLaurentis.

The connection came when Eddie, a Radley employee, anonymously left a drawing on Ezra's front door made by Bethany, showing Mrs. DiLaurentis watering her roses and a monster trying to eat her.

The previous episode showed Spencer suspecting her father to be responsible for Mrs. DiLaurentis' death when she found out her father's medicine was the was found in Mrs. DiLaurentis' body during the autopsy.

However, Spencer's suspicion vanished when Ali received a video message from "A" showing Mrs. Dilaurentis' dead body with the caption "I buried your mom the same way I watched her bury you."

Ali, scared of what "A" plans to do with her, decided to leave Rosewood again, this time with the help of Hanna.

Hanna dropped Ali at her house to get her things. Meanwhile, Emily went to Ali's to try and stop her from leaving.

Ali was attacked by "A" at her house; she was struck by a fire poker and was strangled by her scarf when Emily arrived just in time save her, but "A" managed to escape.

The episode ended showing "A" as the "Black Widow" holding a bouquet of flowers with a note saying "My deepest condolences," for Bethany's parents.

'Pretty Little Liars' airs Tuesday 8 p.m. EST on ABC Family.
