Pretty Little Liars Spoilers, Cast Rumors: Ashley Benson Restraining Order Against Married Man Now Fired From Warner Bros. Lot

The Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson recently got a temporary restraining order against a married man, 49-year-old James Gorton Jr. The man was fired from his job as a guard on the Warner Bros. lot where the series was being filmed.

According to reports, members of the studio's security team came forward declaring that Gorton said he received a message from God to pursue the young actress so they could get married and spread the Gospel together. Benson in the meantime was granted a TRO to keep Gorton 100 yards away from her to ensure her safety.

The petition was filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court last July 17 saying that Gorton had expressed threatening intensions toward Benson and the actress had been "anxious, worried, and fearful," according to E!News.

According to eonline.com, "Benson stated in her declaration that she was first alerted to Gorton's actions on June 11 when her manager, Thor Bradwell, showed her a picture of a man telling her that Gorton has expressed sexual feelings toward her and had stated that he is acting under instructions from God to pursue a romantic relationship with her after falling in love with her 'over a year ago' after first seeing her at a coffee shop near the lot."

"I am also told that Mr. Gorton believes that God has spoken to him through my character on Pretty Little Liars, the actress noted," as stated by E!News.

Right now, Gorton has been forbidden to work on the lot. Benson, for now, is safe from possible harm having secured the TRO yesterday. According to the actress, it wasn't the first time that she received this kind of disturbance. Benson revealed to Complex magazine last month that a fan once tried to kidnap her out of her car.
