Fans of 'Pretty Little Liars' had expected that the show creators would reveal the real identity of Charles in the Season 5 finale of the teen drama mystery-thriller television series on ABC. However, it did not materialize then. Now, it looks like the ABC show seems to be getting closer to revealing the name of the hooded villain who tortured the Liars in his captivity.

According to IB Times, the possibility of revealing Charles identity has given rise to loads of speculations. One such speculation points fingers at Sara Harvey, the girl who was rescued along with the Liars from Charles' dollhouse.

As of now, very little is known about Sara, except for the fact that she remained in Charles' captivity for almost two years before she was joined by the Liars joined in the villain's dollhouse. In 'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6 episode 3 titled 'Songs of Experience,' viewers saw Sara getting close to Emily after her initial fears of being touched.

In the meantime, several fans of the show have produced possible clues to Charles and Sara being the same person. Some fans even believe that the show will include a transgender storyline to establish that Sara and Charles is the same person.

One such fan recently wrote, "I wouldnt be surprised if PLL jumps on the transgendered bandwagon and reveals that Sara is Charles. It would be a cool twist so im all for it. But usually the reveals never make much sense anyway."

There seems to be yet another clue about Sara being Charles. According to TV Line, it is the fact that Sara was quick to deny that Andrew was the person responsible for her captivity in the dollhouse. In addition, the media outlet also noted that Charles is not willing to share the credit for his actions and was not very happy when Andrew came very close to getting the credit.

It is interesting to note that according to another fan theory Charles is actually dead and someone else is keen on avenging his death.

This line of fan thought states, "Let's say that Charles was another man's child, or even another family's child, what if one of his parents are taking revenge. Maybe Marion or Scott Montgomery?"

One fan, who believes in this theory, wrote, "I'm thinking that Bethany knew Charles from Radley and she's helping someone tell everyone who he was, because the Dilaurentis family tried to hide him away. I don't know how but all the families could somehow most of the parents are involved and now their children are paying for it. "
