Even as Season 5 of the ABC teen drama "Pretty Little Liars" is set for a June 10 premiere, the series has been gaining ground in terms of popularity and viewership, speculation regarding the network renewing the show for Season 6 is still unfounded.

Fans are wondering whether the show be renewed for yet another season. Recently, show executive producer Marlene King spoke to E! Online on the probability of "Pretty Little Liars" being renewed for its sixth season. She told the site that the writers are willing to create a new season of the series provided ABC Network agrees to it.

Talking to the entertainment site, Marlene said, "I don't think the end of season five is the end of our story," adding, "We know what that ending is already and it definitely sets us up for some more stories to tell in season six, but of course we have to rely on ABC Family for that, but I think they'll think so too."

The executive producer is open about another season of "Pretty Little Liars" and is hopeful that the ABC family will agree to do a new season. In fact, a report by Wetpaint sometime this June, said that Marlene is prepared for more than six seasons.

Marlene tweeted, "At least five. I hope more."

Hence, it is possible that the show creators have recruited the cast and other members for Season 5 as well as Season 6.

According to Wetpaint, producers of "Pretty Little Liars" will have to try out new theories if they really want to do Season 6 and need to essentially avoid the usual "A" vs. The Liars game. They will probably require a third "A" arc for Season 6, the site suggested, including the first arc showing Mona playing "A."

At present, "Pretty Little Liars" is focusing on the second arc.

It is said that "Pretty Little Liars" Season 5 will be a special one, as it will showcase the 100th installment of the series in Episode 5 titled "Miss Me X 100." Viewers will see some old faces like Jenna (played by Tammin Sursok) and Caleb (played by Tyler Blackburn) returning to the show in the 100th installment of the show.
