'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6 Release Date, Plot News: New Season to Focus on A’s Dollhouse [VIDEO]
While still over a month remains for 'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6 to premiere, fans have already started speculating about what the new season of the teen drama mystery-thriller television series has in store for them when it airs on June 2. However, they are likely to get a hint of the things to come when ABC Family releases the promo of the first episode titled "Game On, Charles.'
According to IB Times, on Friday, 'Pretty Little Liars' executive producer Marlene King took to her Twitter handle to say: "I'm actually getting a sneak peek of it tomorrow. So you should see the 601 promo soon!"
Fans last saw the pretty little liars - Aria, Emily, Hanna, Spencer and Mona, being trapped in A's alias Charles' dollhouse. It is likely that in Season 6 episode 1 of 'Pretty Little Liars,' fans will see 'A' punishing the Liars for attempting to escape from his captivity.
Talking to the People magazine about the first episode of 'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6, actress Janel Parrish said, "We're going to start seeing in season 6 that the girls are going to be punished for their actions by A, and slowly we'll start finding out more about what exactly happens to them, and I think that they're all going to leave the dollhouse pretty messed up. ...," adding, "Everyone is going to have some serious scars when they leave the dollhouse."
Regarding the events in the first episode of the show, King had earlier tweeted hinting that fans will come to know since when A has actually been preparing to trap the girls in the Dollhouse. In another tweet, she stated, "Season 6 premiere reveals a bathroom." According to reports, Alison will also be featuring in the first episode.
According to rumors, Jason DiLaurentis will portray the character of the villain Charles' twin. He is likely to play a major role in the first few episodes of 'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6. In addition, fans of the show will also get to know more regarding Andrew's past before the showrunners reveal Charles' identity.
In the first half of 'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6, fans will see the girls trying to escape A's dollhouse, while the second half will focus on their lives and mental state following a four-year time jump, which will see at least one of the 'Liars' married.
'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6 will premiere on June 2 and will air every Tuesdays on ABC Family.
