ABC network's Pretty Little Liars Season 5 will provide a revelation of ugly truths and personality transformations, the network has also planned for future seasons six and seven. Fans should be excited to learn that the show's producers intend to reveal new deeper and darker secrets about the four Liars.

Ezra is able to recover from his surgery, but Aria's news that Shana is the mysterious A, has left him in an instant shock. Connecting the dots from the past seasons, it turns out that Shana was the one who mercilessly killed Allison and was the one who locked the four female protagonists inside the lodge, E Online reported.

Unfortunately, during a confrontation with Aria, Shana accidentally fell off the stage and hit her head against something metal, she died in an instant. That would pin Aria, technically as a murderer, but the question is, how is she going to take the incident?

In an interview with TVLine, executive producer Marlene King teased that Shana's death brings transformation to Aria's personality. "It affects her tremendously. One of the questions the girls have always asked is, 'Why did Ali pick us? Why were we the team she put together to be her friends?' And those answers will come. One of the reasons she picked Aria is because she's so compassionate, and now that - as you say - she's tasted her first kill, it will affect her dramatically. And traumatically," she said.

Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Whirly Girl airs June 17 on ABC.
