Premier League Transfer Rumors: Winger Nani In Arsenal's Crosshairs
The next Premier League season is just a few weeks away and teams are already closing down their options of buying and trading players. The trading season is still not over, as a few teams are still using the remaining time to spot players that might fit their roster.
Arsenal for one is still not finished canvassing their attack options, as they currently have their sights set upon Manchester United's winger Nani. Last season, Nani was not given ample game opportunities by Louis Van Gaal, and Arsenal is ready to offer £9 million for him. Manchester might not be ready to take the offer however, as Nani wants a higher fee.
The Aston Villa for the majority of the trade duration have only been dealing with free transfer signings, but they might see the potential trade or sell central defender Ron Vlaar. The Dutch captain's value evidently rose with his performance in the recently concluded World Cup and Tottenham Hotspur is one of the teams chasing after his signature, probably with a Lewis Holtby swap.
Chelsea FC has already made their significant bolstering of the offensive and midfield roster, and are looking to its defensive strength. Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho, is looking to sign center-back Deigo Godin. The Spanish defender would be an excellent addition to Chelsea's defense if they manage to get him from the Spanish League to the English League.
Manchester City hasn't been making headway when it comes to signing attacking players, but if their deal with getting back midfielder Isco pulls through, it would make headlines. He will be an expensive purchase however, costing £31 million.
