Premier League Transfer Rumors, Latest News: Marouane Chamakh, Romelo Lukaku Updates
A number of deals and rumors are circulating the Premiere League Clubs as players are being bought off and transferred from one club to another.
One such deal is Marouane Chamakh to sign a two-year contract to stay with the Crystal Palace. The Bordeaux striker moved in from Arsenal on a one-year deal at the start of the last season, with Arsenal contributing a large part of his salary to cover the final 12 months of his stay with the Emirates Stadium.
During his stay with the Crystal Palace, he has secured five goals for the Premiere League and played a major role alongside his teammate Tony Pulis.
The Crystal Palace were not prepared to match Arsenal's bid for Chamakh's salary, but a compromise was made in the form of a reduced salary that made the player's intention to stay with the team clear.
One such alternative to Arsenal was Queens Park Rangers, but until then Chamakh will be making the roster for Stadium, alongside Pulis' squad once more.
There's also been the news of Chelsea's Romelu Lukaku being sought after by Everton and Tottenham. Another German football club was also after the player, but in defense, Chelsea has put on a £32 million price tag on Lukaku.
Despite this defensive strategy, Wolfsburg has reignited their interest in the Belgian player and talks over the deal of his permanent transfer are already underway. If ever Lukaku makes the transfer, he will be the third Belgian Chelsea player to do so, alongside Junior Malanda, and Kevin de Bruyne.
