Minister Deitrick Haddon and Bishop Clarence McClendon Reconcile on Episode 2 of "Preachers of L.A." Full Recap

Preachers of L.A. is a reality show that gives viewers a closer look inside the everyday lives of preachers outside of the church who despite their career title are still un-perfect people. If you missed the second episode of the series you can view it below.

On episode 2 of Preachers of L.A., Minister Deitrick Haddon and Bishop Clarence McClendon are involved in argument over the question "Should you charge for the gospel?" Things between the 2 became so heated that McClendon left and some of the ministries men attempt to bring the two men together for remediation.

Deitrick discloses the ins and outs of the argument to his fiancée Dominique. He explained that he was guilty of becoming overly passionate during the argument, but felt very disrespected when McClendon called him "son." Dominique tells Deitrick that they need agree to disagree and put the argument behind them.

The argument is all people are talking about even the people who weren't present for the drama. Bishop Noel Jones heard about it and extended an invitation for McClendon to come over and hear his views on things. After a mutual understanding of how things looked to those from the outside looking in, McClendon builds up the gumption to admit he was wrong and says, "I have nothing but love for Deitrick."

On the other side of L.A. Bishop Jay Haizlip is battling with the decision to let a former church member who has undergone a sex change rejoin the church. He seeks advice from his wife Christy and the Bible and ultimately Haizlip doesn't want to do anything to dishonor God, but where do you draw the line?

Ron Gibson and Deitrick both sit down to dinner where they discuss marriage and Deitrick's relationship with his fiancée Dominique, whom he has a child with out of wedlock. Gibson went on to say, the foundation for marriage must be strong and set because "a shaky foundation suspect engagement is indicative to a shaky marriage." Deitrick quickly became defensive saying, "I'm sick of ya'll bishops preaching stuff that is not in the bible."

The dinner leaves Deitrick wondering where the word "shacking" is in the bible, but viewers find out after the dinner that Deitrick and his fiancée Dominique aren't shacking up. Dominique lives with her mother a long with their daughter and is just as concerned about starting their marriage off as the bible says and not shacking, which is putting a rift between her and Deitrick who can't stand to be away from her and their daughter.
