Portugal will face Ghana on Thursday at the Estádio Nacional de Brasilia in Brasilia, Brazil. The game starts at 12:00 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

Portugal avoided elimination in their recent match versus USA on Sunday; Portugal's Silvestre Varela scored the game-tying goal in the fifth minute of injury time with almost the last kick of the match, which ended the match in a 2-2 draw.

Star player Cristiano Ronaldo played against USA despite the fact he was warned by Portuguese doctor Jose Carlos Noronha not to play in the World Cup, because his current knee injury could be career-threatening. Now Portugal is need of a victory, and hopes to see USA lose their last match. If that happens and Portugal can defeat Ghana by a decent goal difference then they could progress.

"We're probably just an average team. I'd be lying if I said we were a top team," said Ronaldo to reporters. "Recently I haven't been how I had hoped."

Ghana also still have a chance after impressing by finishing their previous game versus Germany in a 2-2 draw.

A win versus Portugal and a US loss (depending on goal differential) is the only way Ghana will be able to advance into the next round. Ghana is currently tied with Portugal with 1 point in the Group G seating. Ghana's manager James Appiah revealed what his side must do in order to overcome Ronaldo and his squad.

"I always believe that the best way to defend is to attack," said Appiah to reporters following their recent match against Germany.
