Portlandia Announces Season 4 Premiere Via Instagram: The "Put a Bird On It" Comedy Will Return in February 2014 [Trailer]

It looks like Portlandia fans have something new to look forward to in 2014 with the return of the popular hipster comedy show in February. The "Put a Bird on It" comedy stars Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen as they act in different sketches based in Portland. The duo announced the season 4 premiere of Portlandia via Instagram in a very "on-brand" style video. The only thing that was missing was the free range chicken.

The guest list for the new season is long and filled with big names just as it was for season 3. Some guests that will be on the new season 4 of Portlandia include Kirsten Dunst, Maya Rudolph, Jeff Tweedy, Olivia Wilde, the Portland Trail Blazers, Jason Sueikis and Jeff Goldblum.

Some famous sketches from past seasons of Portlandia include Carrie and Fred telling you to "put a bird on it," using the word "cacao" as a safe word, and living on a commune with Jason Sudeikis. The show airs on IFCTV and the first three seasons are available on Netflix.
