The Portland Trail Blazers (38-18) will face off against the Denver Nuggets (25-30) at the Pepsi Center in Denver on Tuesday night.

With LaMarcus Aldridge likely sidelined again, Damien Lillard and Thomas Robinson will attempt to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to a third straight victory tonight against the Denver Nuggets.

Aldridge leads the Trailblazers with career-high averages of 23.9 points and 11.4 rebounds, but he has missed the past three games due to a strained left groin. The forward will apparently be re-evaluated, so it is uncertain if he will travel.

The Nuggets are dealing with a major absence of its own in Ty Lawson, the team leader with 18.0 points and 8.8 assists per game. He has missed six games due to a broken rib and it is undecided if he will be available versus Portland.

The Nuggets have not played well without him, losing seven of their last eight games after losing the final score of 109-95 to Sacramento on Sunday. They were outscored 39-18 in the third quarter when the Kings shot 11 of 18 from the floor and made four 3-pointers.

"It's tough, man," said guard Randy Foye to reporters adding. "But we've got to stay together, we've got to keep fighting and keep believing; don't give in. That's the main thing. Everybody goes through times like this during the season. It's important for us to continue to fight, to keep pushing."
