Pokemon Z Release Date, Rumors: Fans Discuss Pokemon X and Y Sequel, Pokemon Zygrade Mega Evolution
As fans are still enjoying their Pokemon X and Y editions, various theories regarding a "Pokemon Z" have emerged, featuring rumors about the Pokemon Zygarde and its Mega Evolution.
Rumors about a "Pokemon Z" game have been around since the Japanese video game company Nintendo announced their already released Pokemon X and Y. Speculation on the game circulates around the legendary Pokemon Zygrade's existence, and fans have already begun spinning fascinating gossip on what the upcoming sequel may be like.
CoolGlaceon writes on PokeJungle, "Xerneas and Yveltal are basically immune to the main types of Zygrade."
He further writes, "What if in Pokemon Z when and if Zygarde mega evolves, it gains an ability which turns immunities into weaknesses much like how inverse battles work. I guess this is also backed up by the fact that the only place to have inverse battles is on Route 18 where Terminus Cave is located...where Zygarde is found."
However, this is certainly not the first time that such rumors regarding a Mega Evolution of Zygarde have surfaced.
Meanwhile, HeavyMetalLamb writes, "A mega evolution gives a Pokemon an increase in 100 to their total base stats. Zygarde has 600 base stats which is super low for a (legendary trio). A mega would make Zygarde have a 700 base stat, tying it with Mega Tyranitar and Mega Garchomp and making it stronger than Xerneas and Yveltal."
It goes on to add, "Its Pokedex also talks of how it will reveal its secret power when the ecosystem goes wrong, which I'm sure will be the plot line of the next game, and we manage to get a hold of Zygardenite which they will code into the next game of DLC expansion."
Pressing the subject further, it says, "Also, you ever notice how when you first encounter Xerneas it's in a tree-like-state, Yveltal is in a cocoon-like-state, and Zygarde looks like the larvae for a fly and lives underground like larvae."
Taking the impending Diancie distribution into consideration, it is now obvious Game Freak aims to expand the Pokemon X and Y universe, possibly through a DLC or a sequel game like "Pokemon Z".
The new game is speculated to be released on November 21.
