Pokemon X and Y News: Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire Release Date Coming November 2014?
Japanese video game developer Nintendo has announced that "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire" and "Pokemon Omega Ruby" will be released on Nov. 30 and pre-order pages have also been released.
According to reports, Newegg is now accepting reservations of the two handheld games. The listings say that the two games are available for $39.99 - the same price as the other Nintendo 3DS new releases, including "Pokemon X" and "Pokemon Y."
Although the two games are said to be released on Nov. 30 (Sunday), chances are that the launch will not take place on that particular date. While Sunday is not an appropriate day for the release of the titles, also most are of the opinion that Nintendo is unlikely to premiere its titles so soon after Black Friday.
However, it is very likely that "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire" and "Pokemon Omega Ruby" will be released sometime in November, an ideal time for parents to invest in Christmas gifts for their children.
It is being anticipated that "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire" and "Pokemon Omega Ruby" would be merging some elements from the original "Pokemon Sapphire" and "Pokemon Ruby", with a number of new features in the sixth generation of the titles. For instance, it seems that the latest graphics engine as well as the mega evolution features "Pokemon X" and "Pokemon Y" would also be used in the forthcoming new games.
The official Facebook site of the games series carries and articles along with a screenshot of Mega Charizard X, one of the latest mega evolution transformers.
The original versions of the game were released in 2003 solely for the Game Boy Advance. In the new titles, players will be able to explore the Hoenn region as the areas are supposed to be remade entirely with 3D graphics.
Recently, a representative from Game Freak teased that a number of changes are going to be made to the combat system. Consequently, "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire" and "Pokemon Omega Ruby" will eventually replace "Pokemon X" and "Pokemon Y" for official competitions.
