Pokemon X and Y's Pokemon Bank is now arriving in various locations, and for all those who download the app they will get a complimentary Pocket Monster to go along with it.

Upon depositing any Pokemon into the Bank, a free Celebi will be given to the user as a gift. According to CNET, to get Celebi the gamer must have the cartridge in the 3DS when downloading Pokemon Bank. Once the pass is purchased the app will be set up. From there the user must head into the game and choose "Pokemon Link" instead of game. A screen will pop up for the gamer to confirm the free gift and the Celebi will be placed in the Pokemon Bank.

Pokemon Bank has gone live in Europe after over a month of delays due to the app crashing the entire network.

Pokemon Bank allows users to register for a cloud based storage service that enables gamers to keep over 3000 Pokemon in over a 100 boxes. This app comes with Poke Transporter, which allows for the transfer of Pokemon from previous games, Black and White, Black 2 and White 2. However, these trades are final, and Pokemon can only come from the older games, not vice versa.

The initial complications arose on Christmas day, when the Japanese release of the Pokemon Bank and Poke Transporter caused the company's entire Internet server to crash.
