Pokemon X and Y Followup: Ruby and Sapphire Remakes Coming to 3DS in November; Alpha and Omega Revamp Older Versions (TRAILER)

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are coming to the 3DS in November the Pokemon Company announced yesterday.

The two new games are remakes of the Game Boy Advance classics that came out in 2003, Ruby and Sapphire.

"Pokémon fans will collect, battle, and trade Pokémon in a new adventure," said a short press release by the Pokemon Company. "The new titles promise to take players through a dramatic story within a spectacular new world."

Not much more was revealed by the game, but gamers can speculate it will be revamped into X and Y's 3D style.

Another Pokemon game was recently announced, Pokemon Art Academy, which will release in Japan on June 19 for the 3DS.

According to Polygon, there will be around 40 tutorials about how to draw Pokemon, and also offers different templates to "free draw" or create other artwork. These drawings will be able to be shared with the Nintendo Miiverse.

The game is based off of the Art Academy games, that were released in 2012 for the Wii U and handheld.

Pokemon X and Y, the most recent installment of the game has set records in sales, and has sold over 12 million games since its launch last November.
