Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Rumors, News: Mega Evolutions Leaked; Five Revealed Including Diancie (VIDEO)
New reports have indicated Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be introducing Mega Evolutions into the remake of these games.
Mega Evolutions were first introduced in the latest games, Pokemon X and Y, and it seems along with the new updated graphics, these remakes will get some of the new flair as well.Mega Evolution occur after the final form of a creature and make it more powerful in its stat categories. Sometimes the Pokemon's type changes too.
According to leaks, so far there are Mega Evolutions for three Pokemon, which includes two legendary characters. This info was revealed through Japanese magazine CoroCoro, according to GameSpot.
Receiving the special evolutions are: Sceptile (Grass/Dragon), Swampert (Water/Ground), and Diancie (Rock/Fairy). The two cover Pokemon, Groudon and Kyogre, are getting them as well. The first three will receive the form through the Mega Bangle, while the later two legendary creatures will obtain evolution through Ancient Devolution.
On June 15, the show "Pokemon Get TV" will be airing a ton of new info on the upcoming, reported Serebii. The show had previously aired some footage last month but many fans were disappointed with the disjointed effort.
KPopStarz predicts that CoroCoro will be releasing some leaks around that time so the information may overlap with what is shown on TV.
Nintendo is also believed to be releasing some more information on the game during the E3 Conference from June 10 to June 12.
Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games are remakes of the Game Boy Advance classics that came out in 2003, Ruby and Sapphire.
