Pokemon X and Y News: Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Release Date Announced for November 21 (Trailer)
Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire has officially been announced to arrive on the 3DS November 21, confirmed Nintendo at the E3 event.
Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be introducing Mega Evolutions into the remake of these games as well.
Mega Evolutions were first introduced in the latest games, Pokemon X and Y, and it seems along with the new updated graphics, these remakes will get some of the new flair as well. Mega Evolution occurs after the final form of a creature to make it more powerful in its stat categories. Sometimes the Pokemon's type changes too.
So far confirmed to be receiving the special evolutions are: Sceptile (Grass/Dragon), Swampert (Water/Ground), and Diancie (Rock/Fairy). The two legendary cover Pokemon, Groudon and Kyogre, are getting them as well. The first three will receive the form through the Mega Bangle, while the later two legendary creatures will obtain evolution through Ancient Devolution.
On June 15, the show "Pokemon Get TV" will be airing a ton of new informaton on the upcoming changes, reported Serebii. The show had previously aired some footage last month but many fans were disappointed with the disjointed effort.
Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games are remakes of the Game Boy Advance classics that came out in 2003, Ruby and Sapphire.
