Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Mega Evolutions and Trainer Visual Upgrades

Nintendo's highly anticipated remakes of the original Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire games are being closely watched by gamers around the world. The company releases frequent updates regarding development of the game which includes screenshots and magazine articles.

A new feature that graced Pokemon X & Y during its release were Mega Evolutions. Mega Evolutions are basically an extra stage in the evolutionary tree of certain Pokemon. The extra evolution grants the Pokemon extra abilities, extra types, and new forms depending on which Pokemon version players are playing.

The mega evolution for Charizard for example comes in two forms, the X and the Y version. Both versions have different forms and different types.

In the Hoenn remakes, the Mega Evolutions will also be included with new Pokemon gaining their respective Mega Evolutions. Nintendo has already revealed over the months since the remake's announcement a number of Pokemon possessing Mega Evolution prowess.

Mega Sableye, Mega Diancie, and most recently, three new additions get mega evolutions; Mega Metagross, Mega Swampert, and Mega Sceptile. Aside from the mega evolutions, the flagship Pokemon of the two respective games get Primal Evolutions or rather Primal Reversions where instead of evolving, they revert to their primal state.

The two Pokemon Groudon and Kyogre will revert to being Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre.

The Pokemon aren't the only ones to get new features in the Hoenn remakes, but trainers get some boosts as well. Various trainers in the Hoenn region will be receiving visual upgrades from their former look in the original titles. Included in the visual upgrade will be the Pokemon Gym leaders.
