Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be featuring a new Mega Evolution for Metagross, who is a steel and psychic type.

This news was revealed in the game's most recent trailer. Also announced was an updated Elite Four and gym leaders as well as X and Y's Amie mini game.

Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire screenshots have been revealed in a Japanese issue of CoroCoro, and interestingly enough there seems to be multiple versions of Pikachu.

According to CoroCoro, there will be a Doctor Pikachu, Madam Pikachu, Idol Pikachu, Masked Pikachu, and Hard Rock Pikachu. See these pictures here.

The game's will be introducing StreetPass and secret bases as well.

Secret bases is a cool feature that allows the gamer to create their own space to battle using custom rules. Using a QR code or the Streetpass function, gamers will be able to play with friends or even strangers.

This will also introduce another feature called Secret Pals, which will allow strangers to become friends and help each other out during the game with different skill sets to make some of the game's challenges a little easier.

Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games are remakes of the Game Boy Advance classics that came out in 2003, Ruby and Sapphire.
