PlayStation Plus June 2014 Free Game's List Loses 6 Titles But Gains 2 New (VIDEO)

Today six games left the PlayStation Plus: Puppeteer (PS3), Surge Deluxe (PS Vita), Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse (PS3), Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD (PS Vita), Thomas Was Alone (PS3/PS Vita), and Remember Me (PS3).

Today, Mutant Mudds Deluxe for the PS Vita and Terraria for the PS3 have been added to PS Plus.

PlayStation Plus will now be getting six free games a month as Sony has changed up the manner in which their monthly service functions.

Prior to this month Sony would sporadically announce the games on the list, but never seemed to have a schedule. Now there will be two free games offered each month for PS3, PS4, and PS Vita, reported Polygon.

In July, the schedule will begin running the deal from the first Tuesday until the next month's Tuesday.

"Every title in the Instant Game Collection will be available the first Tuesday of the month, and will be free for the month, until the first Tuesday of the following month, taking the guesswork out of how long the game will be available for free," Sony wrote on the PlayStation Blog. "In the coming weeks, you'll see that several of the titles that have had a nice, long stint in the Instant Game Collection will be phased out, so if you're new to the service and haven't had a chance to download all of the titles available through PS Plus "” or if you've been thinking about subscribing but haven't yet "” now is the perfect time to get all the great games available with PS Plus."

For June, PS4 owners are able to download Trine 2: Complete Story and Pixel Shooter Ultimate. PS3 owners can get NBA 2K14 and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. PS Vita players can now get Terraria and Mutant Mudds Deluxe.
