PlayStation Plus Free Games List: PS Plus August 2014 Listing
Playstation Plus, the premium online service available exclusively to Sony Playstation gamers, has finally released its August 2014 list of free games accessible to its PS Plus subscribers.
Speculation about what games would be available for download has been quenched as Sony announced the lineup of free games this week.
Starting this August, Playstation Plus subscribers can now enjoy free games available for this month, namely: 'Road Not Taken', a puzzle-adventure game developed by Spry Fox available on PS4, 'Metrico', an infographics puzzle-action game developed by Digital Dreams Games available on PS Vita, and 'Fez', an adventure game featuring a 2D creature named Gomez who sets off on a journey to a 3D world. 'Fez' is available to PS4, PS3, and PS Vita gamers and was published by Polytron Corporation.
Also, 'Crysis 3' and 'Proteus' for PS3 gamers and for PS Vita players is on the list, with the 2D fantasy game 'Dragon's Crown'.
'Crysis 3' is a shooter video game developed by the German Crytek. It was originally developed in 2007 for Microsoft Windows. Following the game's massive success, it was later on made available to all other platforms including Sony's Playstation line.
'Proteus', on the other hand, is an exploration game which was first developed in 2013 while Dragon's Crown is an action-packed adventure game with spectacular graphics developed by Vanillaware.
The August 2014 Playstation Plus free games listed in the lineup will be available to its PS Plus subscribers starting August 5th.
