PlayStation Plus April 2014: Free Games List Includes Batman Arkham City, Mercenary Kings, and More in Instant Games Collection
PlayStation Plus will be getting six new titles added to the Instant Games Collection in April, replacing March's queue.
Coming to North America is one free PS4 game, two free PS3 games, and three PS Vita games, reported IGN.
The games are: Batman: Arkham City and Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse for the PS3, Mercenary Kings for the PS4, and PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate HD, Stealth Inc.: A Clone in the Dark, and Velocity Ultra for the Vita.
It has not been reported when the games will officially launch, but usually PS Plus puts out new games each Tuesday of the month.
In Europe PS Plus subscribers will be getting different games. IGN reported, Europe will be getting Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 and Sly Cooper Thieves in Time for the PS3 along with Hotline Miami and MotoGP13.
However, with this month, there is still time to get games for March. Monster Hunter Freedom Unite was announced by Sony earlier this week, and the game can be downloaded for both of Sony's handhelds.
PlayStation Plus is offering two other free games for this month, Thomas Was Alone and Unit 13, for the Instant Games Collection.
Thomas Was Alone is for the PS3 and PS Vita, and is primarily a puzzle platforming game using shapes. Unit 13 is a Vita exclusive in the vein of classic third person shooter SOCOM. The two games appeared in the PlayStation Store last week.
PS Plus has a few other games available at a discounted price. Those include: all three versions of Fez, Bioshock, Boshock 2, and Bioshock Infinite's DLC's.
