Sony PS4 vs. Microsoft Xbox One E3 2013 update!
"I'll show you mine if you show me yours" was the motto for the first day of E3 2013 Monday June 10, 2013. Heavy game console hitters Sony and Microsoft kicked the day off with a reveal of the next generation Playstation 4 and Xbox One. But which company will deliver the better console? Let's look at the specs and features and new games for the PS4 and Xbox One.
The design for both consoles resembles their predecessors. The controllers are relative similar as well. Sony did give the new Playstation 4 controller a new touchpad, a built-in speaker and a headphone jack.
As far as under-the-hood specs, both the PS4 and Xbox One share a lot in common. Both consoles have feature custom AMD chips and eight-core processors with 8GB of Ram. The Xbox One features SmartGlass which allows gamers to connect their smartphones to the console. The Playstation 4 let's users stream PS4 games to their Sony PS Vita.
New games will probably be the biggest selling point for Xbox and PS4 users. Microsoft kicked off E3 2013 with previews new exclusive games. Ryse: Son of Rome in particular was met with cheers from the E3 2013 crowd. Metal Gear Solid V and Sunset Overdrive rounded off an impressive list of new Xbox One games. Sony did just as well with impressive titles like Killzone: Shadowfall and a new Final Fantasy game.
As for price and release date, the Sony Playstation 4 is expected to be a bit cheaper at $349 while the Xbox One should be marked at an even $400. As for release date, both consoles are expected to be released sometime close to November 2013; right in time for holiday season.
