Playstation 4 vs Xbox One: Release Date, Price, Games / Everything You Need to Know About New Consoles
Are you a video gamer? Are you still in the dark when it comes specs and features for the next generation of consoles from players like Microsoft and Sony? Just in case you are, here's everything you need to know about the new Xbox One and Playstation 4.
First things first: when will the consoles be released? Though no official release date has been confirmed, most sources point towards a late November release for both the Xbox One and Playstation 4.
When it comes to price, PS4 is sitting at a pretty $399, a full $100 less than the Xbox One. If money's tight the console prices could be the tipping point in Sony's favor.
Games will probably be the deciding factor for most. Both the Xbox One and PS4 have a slew of new and exclusive titles being released in late 2013 and all throughout 2014. After seeing the E3 2013 demo, Ryse: Son of Rome seems like one of the best games to come out in the last few years. I'm a PS4 guy, so admitting the Xbox One may have the best exclusive game of the year stings a little. But credit is given where it's deserved. Along with Halo 5 coming out in 2014, Sony will have some stiff competition.
The PS4 controller gets a bit of an update as well. The thumb sticks are positioned closer to the thumbs, while triggers and buttons are a little better quality. There's even a touchscreen in the middle of the controller. What it will be used for, I don't know.
