PlayStation 4 Unveiled by Sony, Comes at Great Price, See It Here (VIDEO)
The PlayStation 4 was finally unveiled by Sony in Los Angeles at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).
In February, Sony released a statement announcing the PlayStation 4 but no one was able to see the design until now.
The PlayStation 3 was released back in 2006 and developers had been working on the newest version since then.
The PS4 has an X86 processor, enhanced PC GPU and 8GB of high-speed unified memory. It also includes a dual-shock controller that includes a touchpad, headphone jack and share button.
They added a new Remote Play feature that also lets you play your PS4 games on the PlayStation Vita. A lot like with the Wii U, Remote Play allows you to simultaneously watch television, while playing a game on Vita.
Sony announced the PlayStation 4 would be starting at $399, which is a great price point, and also with a host of games that don't require you to be online all the time which brought loud cheers from the crowd at their E3 press event.
Sony's new PlayStation 4 will definitely have competition with the new XBox One and their similiarities and differences will be looked over in detail which we will discuss in another article.
Would you go out and buy the new PlayStation 4?
