The defending Stanley Cup Champion Kings (6-1-2) are looking to prevent a possible two game losing streak when they meet the young Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby and the rest of the Pittsburgh squad in the 'Steel City'.

Previously, Kings lost to the Philadelphia Flyers by of 3-2 in overtime after Flyers center Brayden Schenn scored the game winning goal on Tuesday night.

Kings head coach Darryl Sutter addressed his thoughts after the referees changed their previous no-goal call which resulted in Los Angeles goalie Jonathan Quick suffering the defeat.

"It doesn't matter what the referees say, they're the messenger," said Sutter to reporters.

"They have the right to review. So whether it was (the right call) or not, it doesn't matter what I think is correct or not correct. It really has no bearing on anything. He was safe at third and out at home."

Meanwhile, the Penguins (5-2-1) are attempting to stretch their current winning stretch to three games when they host the 2-time Stanley Cup Champions on Thursday night.

Previously, Pittsburgh completely demolished the New Jersey Devils by a final score of 8-3, when multiple Penguins scored at least a goal including stars Sidney Crosby (2 goals) and Evgeni Malkin.

"We started to get everybody into the game," said Penguins head coach Mike Johnston to reporters.

"Seven different players scoring, that's contributions throughout the lineup."
