Fans of "Pitch Perfect', the 2012 hit movie about college acapella groups, will be happy to know that the sequel, "Pitch Perfect 2' will be released by May 2015. Making her directorial debut in this project is "Pitch Perfect' actress and producer Elizabeth Banks.

In earlier reports, it has been confirmed that Anna Kendrick ('Twilight', 'Up in the Air') will be reprising her role as Beca, as well as Rebel Wilson ('Bridesmaids') as Fat Amy. Brittany Snow ('Hairspray') and Anna Camp ('True Blood') will also be back for the sequel.

Recently, Banks posted a picture on her Twitter account which gave fans a glimpse of a new scene that production had worked on. In the picture, one can see a blue Bellas jacket draped over the back of the driver's seat, and a brunette actress can be seen driving the car. The actress' face was partially seen in the side mirror, and it appears to be new cast member Hailee Steinfeld ('True Grit').

"Just a Bella driving into the wild green yonder. I wonder what this scene could be," teased Banks on her Twitter. Banks also previously posted pictures of Steinfeld together with other members of the cast, which showed them rehearsing and laughing together.

In a recent interview with Today, Wilson jokingly said that there may or may not be a scene where the Barden Bellas will be dangling from helicopters and surviving shark attacks. Also present at the interview were Kendrick and Steinfeld, who grinned but remained tight-lipped about the movie's plot.

Banks did gave one small hint about the movie, she said, "They have gotten too big for their britches"¦literally! They've sort of forgotten about the music a bit."
