One of the most anticipated films of 2015, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, has been delayed yet again in regards to its release date. The film was intended to launch in the Summer of 2015, but reports are now spreading that production has encountered problems and will likely push the release date back towards 2016.

Disney Production President Sean Bailey wants the movie to be more complex than ever, which is why the release had been pushed back in light of additional preparations, "Like audiences around the globe, we have high expectations for Jack Sparrow's next adventure and we want to have all the right elements in place, we're not there yet and we want to make sure this project is everything these wonderful characters and of course the fans deserve," Bailey told Deadline recently.

Most reports say that the biggest reason for the film's delay is its unfinished script and according to Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, "We have an outline everyone loves but the script is not done," he told the Hollywood Reporter recently.

Another possible reason for the delay is Disney's jam packed Summer 2015 schedual. Several movies have already announced their release in 2015. Ant-Man will be coming out by the end of July, Joss Whedon's The Avengers: The Age of Ultron, J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII, and Pixar's Inside Out. There will also be Zack Snyder's Batman/Superman movie, Alan Taylor's Terminator reboot, Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic Park 4, Roland Emmerich's Independence Day 2.  

The film has been reported to have Johnny Depp who plays the legendary Jack Sparrow paid an unbelievable $116 million for the reprisal of his most famous role. The fifth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise follows the worldwide success of the preceding four Pirates of the Caribbean movies which have grossed a combined $1.6 billion worldwide.

There are still no official announcements yet as to the release date of the most awaited comeback pirate adventure movie.
